Nick Young

Michigan State University
PhD candidate
My research lies at the intersection of physics education research and data science. Specifically, I focus on graduate admission in physics using computational methods. I also do some work around experiential learning courses at part of MSU's Hub for Innovation in Teaching and Learning. I'm presenting a poster about this project if you'd like to learn more!

Outside of my research, I'm interested in science communication and thinking about how best to communicate research findings with different audiences. I currently write for PERbites where I summarize the latest DBER studies for general audiences.
