I am the Director of the Math Learning Center at UW-Madison. My emphasis is developing programs that encompass the whole student and is learner focused. I have my PhD in Urban Education with an emphasis is Math Education. The focus of the dissertation is developing a holistic course for math students that have 2 or more levels of developmental mathematics before they are able to access a credit bearing math course. The course design took best practices for instruction from K-12 and college.
