POSTER TITLE: A novel approach to assessment of undergraduate students' epistemic knowledge of models and modeling
THEME: Educational tools and interventions
My poster focuses on an approach to assessment, Ordered Multiple Choice, and how OMC assessments can be used to identify students with expert-like, mid-level, and intuitive/naïve ideas. Mid-level ideas, specifically, can be leveraged in classroom contexts to support student learning.
